This weekend we need to concentrate in preparing the site for road lay out which will happen next Friday and Saturday 12-5 & 6-25 so the qualified member for early setup can start marking out their sites after the Club Meeting.
1. There are street signs with an oak tree cattycornered across from the street signs that mark the corners of all of the roads. These street signs and trees need to be weed-eated around (and some zero turned around) in preparation of laying out twine.
2. Some of these trees need to be trimmed for mowing around with the zero turn mowers especially the ones marking the corner of the roads along the berm.
3. We will also need to have people to go around and pick up the trimmed branches also.
4. Once items 1, 2 and 3 have been completed, trim around and remove suckers from remaining trees om the primitive encampment area.
5. In preparation of the of laying out the modern sites next weekend, we have 11 of the 14 dead pine trees that need to be dropped. Main logs cut into 8’ lengths and the branched piled for removal with the backhoe.
6. The hooter stations need repairs. (Check all hooter doors for proper opening and closing and latching)
7. Clean up and weed eat all Hooter Stations.
8. At the registration house, mow fence lines and around structures, and weed eat as needed.
9. Weed-eat barbed wire fence line from main entry to registration.
10. Weed eat all wood fence lines and anything else needed.
11. Fix and install the main entrance wood gate.
12. Sharpen chain saws and mower blades.
13. Pick up tree limbs from firebreaks.
