Youth MuzzleLoader Hunt

The inaugural Florida Frontiersmen youth muzzle loader hunt was a success! I didn’t take a lot of pictures but I would like to share a few that I did take. We had five hunters and everyone had a shot during the weekend. Due to excessive rain we set up some ground blinds to keep hunters dry. Jefferson Long riffle members Travis Chapin and Chris Childers came out in pre 1840 gear to give a presentation about the fur trade and flintlock firearms. Everyone saw deer and a few saw turkeys. The lease access was paid for by the Florida Frontiersmen, black powder supplies were provided by a grant from NRA, new headlights were donated by Coast manufacturing, Hunter orange hats were provided by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Florida chapter. Thank you to all the participants, helpers and donors.
