To preserve the skills, trades, and history of pre-1840 America
The Ladies' Christmas Party was a hit, as always! Thank you: Cherri Clark, Weezie Mayo, and Connie Johnson!! (And special Visitors!)
The inaugural Florida Frontiersmen youth muzzle loader hunt was a success! I didn’t take a lot of pictures but I would like to share a few that I did take. We had five hunters and everyone had a shot during the weekend. Due to excessive rain we set up some ground blinds to keep hunters dry.
We learned a lot about our club today, as Jim Hull gave a seminar as the head of the Planning Committee. He reviewed the history, objectives, and Mission Statement of the Committee. We also heard about short- and long-term goals, and about how the committee is open to ideas from all the Membership. Thanks, Jim!
Long Leaf Pines, we have 1,000 containerized long leaf pine seedlings coming for February 28th work day. If you want to help in planting please contact me or Kevin Sue. These are 1 year old and in a pot. Ours will be smaller.
