WELCOME TO:
Zolfo Springs
Pioneer Park Days March 3, 2007

Our 2007
Booshways.
On the left Mary
Mitchell or as we like to call her, Madame Booshway of Pioneer Park
and on the right Sharon & Mike Rutan Alafia Booshways.

Mary was a
reluctant Booshway but an excellent one. She made sure we all had
every thing we needed. She even had time to create a special surprise
for one of the participants. Thanks Mary you did a great job!!!
Come on into the
encampment!

Here is the
entrance

Our favorite Bead
Man was setup next to the Thomas's camp

Marsha & Ed
Taylor's camp

Ron & Diane Capp's
camp

Al Bailey's camp,
or as we fondly call him Ol' Poopie Pants

Dana & Nita's
camp. Mike Rutan is talking to Nita.

Clayton & Janie
Graves's home away from home. Bert Aurich is visiting with Janie.

Mr. Monty's
Mercantile. Also the home of
Monty & Terri
Davies

Piper Bob
was there providing drinks to quench the thirst of the masses.

Doyle and
his Two Eagles Crew were there and cooked up a storm.

Gator came and
brought his store. Also I did not get a picture of Wooden
Hawk's store and Two Moons' store. I'm telling you it was like a
mini Alafia.
Demonstrations

The Dulcimer
Girls played for everyone.

Suz and Charlie
did several songs too!

I believe
this lady's name is Morning Dove and she is weaving on a loom.

Ed Taylor talked
to people about his guns.

Terri Davies
showed curious folks the way to make cornhusk dolls.

Doug Barker
demonstrated how to brain tan deer hides.

Doug teaches
Clayton how to soften this hide.

On Sunday Sharon
and I churned butter. On Saturday Sharon and I cooked a pot roast, a
ham and baked 2 cakes in the dutch oven.
Just For Fun
The Wabbit Hunt

Gator and his
Grandson go on a Wabbit hunt together. Shhhh I think I see the
wabbit!

Saturday Night
Supper
We had a large
crowd almost the whole camp showed up for the covered dish dinner.

Doyle let us use
the Two Eagles dinning room to have our dinner.

There must have
been 35- 40 people in there.

Things were very
cozy, but we were in out of the weather.
Mary Mitchell
came through with a birthday cake for Piper Bob.

He certainly was
surprised!

This Birthday
Boy takes the cake!
Later...

some of us
played CLR

while others sat

and talked by
the fire

and certain
others...snoozed!

I still don't
know what these two were up to...but you can be sure it was no good!
