Hanging Out At Bob's Camp

Let's have a visit with Bob Samson, a member of the Florida Frontiersmen. He has been camping at the Alafia for just a few years but he has worked hard to put together an awesome camp.

Every year he brings his grandsons so they can learn first hand how our ancestors lived.

He lives what he teaches his grandsons and they learn from his example.

They learn how to start a fire with flint and steel.

Camping cooking is top on the list for survival.

Looks like his grandson Richard is a quick learner!

Archery is another fun skill to learn.

Brian Palesch, a fellow Frontiersmen and friend of Bob's was a newbie just a few short years ago.

He looks quite at home now in the 18th century.

Brian is joined by his wife Diana.
