A Weekend At Fort Foster In October our Boy Scouts had the opportunity to participate in a Fort Foster Garrison weekend. Fort Fosters Quartermaster, Sergeant Steve Saunders outfitted the boys in the period correct clothing and introduced them to the soldiers way of life. Here are the boys posing on the cannon  at the forts "sally port". I think you are suppose to have your eyes open when you are on "watch". Hummm... looks like these guys need something to do!   Oooops looks like they have been caught goofing off!   Playing cards in the block house. I think someone is cheating. I have to say this is how my dog sleeps <grin> This sleepyhead is still in bed while the daylight is burning!
