Dear Frontiersmen Family and Visiting Friends,

  Welcome to the 37th Alafia River Rendezvous ®, celebrating the opportunity to come together once again in the spirit of kinship and family.  Some of you have traveled many miles, while others come from nearby; all arriving with expectations of a fun event. To ensure that everyone has a wonderful Rendezvous experience we ask that participants treat one another with respect and consideration.
The Bearrys have chosen the traditional symbol of hospitality, the pineapple, as the symbol for 2008.  Please accept this medallion in the spirit with which it was selected and may it be a reminder to all who wear it to extend kindness to one another.  Have fun!
