About Us
The Florida Frontiersmen, Inc, is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization committed to preserving the skills of our first settlers, pioneers and mountain men in their use of muzzle loading firearms and the equipment and accouterments that accompanied such use. We endeavor to promote fellowship, together with historical appreciation of the era and equipment. We meet once a month to shoot a paper aggregate on our range. We also hold a monthly hawk and knife competition. Prizes are given out to top shooters and throwers. The club also boasts a primitive archery range. The Saturday afternoon of our meeting weekend we have a general business meeting and seminar to share knowledge and information relevant to our historical/shooting interests. Join Us Perspective members are encouraged to attend one of our shoot/meeting weekends. Saturday is the best day. You are invited to participate on the range with us and attend our seminar and meeting. A Florida Frontiersmen Board Member will be happy to explain qualifications and fees for membership.
Our Range Our club motto is More Majorum - after the manner of our ancestors Any questions or comments about this site can be directed to the Webmistress, Teena TurtleRose Thomas. tthomas52@verizon.net
