Father, Guardian of Earth and the Heavens,

I know that life is but a part of the cycle...

a beginning.  As with all things in time,

I know I must leave behind

this earthly life, entering another journey

that I shall travel with no fear,

for you are with me...

Now, then and forever.

I am prepared, and with pride in a life liven,

I humbly present myself

spirit Father...

in Heaven, as on earth forever

I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.
